Overview
Review Summary |
We’d caution users to do their research before choosing an electric converter—the biggest thing we can convey is that an electric sit-stand device at this cost makes us raise our eyebrows, and you’d be taking a risk in going with such a deeply discounted model with no warranty information. |

Bottom Line
Editor’s Note: The following is a “forensic” review. We have not yet had the opportunity to test the Vivo Electric Converter in our labs. When we have been unable to obtain a review unit from the manufacturer and when there is demand from our readers for information on the product, we evaluate publicly available information that the manufacturer and users of the product have provided online. We then apply our extensive experience evaluating standing desk converters and make an informed projection of how well this product will stack up against other products in its category. As soon as we are able to conduct a hands-on evaluation of the product or learn new information about it, we will update this review. Learn more about our review process at Anatomy of a Review.

An Electric Riser for the Cost of a Manual
If you’re looking to pick up an electric standing desk converter on the cheap, then you’ve surely seen Vivo’s Electric Height Adjustable Standing Desk Converter on Amazon. It’s feature-rich, low-cost and boasts a 4.5 star rating to boot.
So, as is the case when we review all low-cost products, we are wondering what the catch is. One issue raised by users is the stability of the keyboard tray. There were multiple reports of it actually falling off—though this looks to have been remedied with the current version of the Vivo desk. Another point of concern is that we were unable to find any information on this product’s warranty on either their Amazon listing or their manufacturer website—it simply says to contact them to find out.
We’d caution users to do their research before choosing an electric converter—the biggest thing we can convey is that an electric sit-stand device at this cost makes us raise our eyebrows, and you’d be taking a risk in going with such a deeply discounted model with no warranty information.
