FlexiSpot Willow Standing Desk Review
- First Look
Overview
Review Summary |
The FlexiSpot Willow starts at $339.99 and comes with a solid wood top, which is quite cheap for a standing desk in solid wood. Though this translates to lower quality construction than competitor desks in solid wood. The collection ranges from super weak lifting capacity and a bit stronger with two motors. Several kinds of controllers let you choose from super simple to one with a bit more control. |

This is a “first look” synopsis on the FlexiSpot Willow. A full review is coming soon!
The FlexiSpot Willow starts at $339.99 and comes with a solid wood top. It comes in two sizes, 48″ x 24″ and 55″ x 28″. 48″ x 24″ size is $339.99 while the 55″ x 28″ size is $379.99.
Both desktop sizes have the option to choose from three frames. The Eco 2-stage frame has a single electric motor, a transit speed of one inch per second (ips), a weight capacity of 154 pounds and a height range of 28″ to 47.6″. The Pro 2-stage frame has dual electric motors, a transit speed of 1.26 ips, a weight capacity of 220 pounds and a height range of 27.2″ to 46.5″. The Pro 3-stage frame has dual electric motors, a transit speed of 1.5 ips, a weight capacity of 275 pounds and a height range of 22.8″ to 48.4″.
There are three different hand controller options. Basic simply has up and down buttons. Standard adds three height memory presets. Advanced adds the presets and standing reminders.
The tops come in rubberwood, cherry wood, red oak and black walnut. Take note that these real wood desktops are much cheaper than real wood desktops from most competitors, and that price difference will be reflected in quality and durability. Read our primer on solid wood desktops for more information.
Assembly has many steps and should take about an hour.
FlexiSpot offers free shipping and a warranty of five years for frame and motor, two years for controller and electronics.
