Positives | Assembly is rather easy and should take no more than 10 minutes. Comes standard with a touch keypad controller with four memory presets and a digital-height display. |

Negatives | This desk takes lack of options to a new level with only one desktop size and two colors. It's shaky near the top height. The weight capacity is low. |
Bottom Line
[Editors’ Note – This product seems to be no longer available from the manufacturer. But they do offer other similar models. We will keep this review up for future reference and comparison.]
This is a “first look” synopsis on the FlexiSpot E9 Standing Desk. A full review is coming soon!
The FlexiSpot E9 standing desk is another cheap option in the FlexiSpot lineup, starting at $299.99. It’s a single-motor, single-stage standing desk with no frills.
The E9 comes in two color combinations. There’s a white frame and white desktop or a black frame and black desktop for $30 more. The desktop comes in one size, 48″x24″.
The standout feature for the E9 is assembly. With a true, 10-minute assembly, this desk runs laps around more expensive and popular desks like the UpLift V2, Autonomous SmartDesk or Fully Jarvis. Those desks will take you at least an hour with lots of frustration along the way. The E9’s assembly is very similar to that of the FlexiSpot Theodore. Check out our full review of the Theodore for a detailed assembly explanation and even a video of the process.
The controller comes with four height memory presets and a digital height display. Like all single-stage bases, the height range is best for average height users. The height range of 28.8″-48.4″ will be particularly difficult for shorter users to fit. The desk is also not very stable, especially at taller heights.
The FlexiSpot E9 comes with the company’s standard warranty. Frame and motor are covered for five years and the electrical components as well as the controller and switch for just two years. FlexiSpot offers a 30-day money-back guarantee with this desk so you may want to retain the box.
