The Ergonofis Alive standing desk is the most luxurious desk offered by this home-grown Canadian company based in Montreal.
The Alive comes in three sizes, 24″ x 48″, 30″ x 60″ and 30″ x 72″. The desktop is available in Maple and Walnut. The frame is available in black and white. The solid wood desktops are between 1 1/2” and 1 3/4″ thick, assembled from 4 to 9 wood slabs, with the user-facing slab having a distinctive live edge. The top is sealed with a clear matte catalyzed lacquer finish.
The desk has dual electric motors that provide 300 lbs of lifting capacity (minus the weight of the selected desktop) with a transit speed of 1.5 inches per second. The dual-stage (three segments) legs have a height adjustment range of 23″-48″ (including the top). The frame also has an integrated cable management system and a touch screen inlay handset with two height memory presets. It features an anti-collision system.
The Ergonofis Alive desktop is made in Canada and comes with a one-year warranty. The base is made by OMT Veyhl in the USA and comes with a 10-year warranty on the frame and five years on electronics (learn more about made-in-USA lifting bases and about how to compare standing desk warranties).
